Harvey Jones
Harvey Jones’ extensive international business career made him increasingly aware of the growing imbalance between consumer and business demands and those of environmental sustainability. His eclectic experience drew him to the belief that the first step on the path to long standing change is by helping people address their environmental consciences within their current lifestyles. Thereafter assisting them to make informed choices will bring about significant changes to the way we all live.
This led him, with Christopher Bristow, to founding SmartlyGreen.com.
Prior to founding SmartlyGreen.com Harvey worked in a number of Sales, Marketing and Business Development roles in the global ICT sector.
Christopher Bristow
Chris was first introduced to the concept of recycling in 1992 when he moved to New York. On his return to the UK in 2007, he was surprised at the high level of media attention commanded by global warming and CO2 emissions, compared to that in the USA.
Together with Harvey Jones, Chris founded smartlygreen.com to encourage people to offset their personal CO2 emissions and to hopefully take the first steps towards adjusting their lifestyles in order to reduce their CO2 footprint. He is working hard to reduce his own carbon footprint.
Before returning to the UK, Chris spent 25 years overseas, working in South Africa, USA and Japan.
